Q. What is the best way to learn Microsoft Office?

In-class Instructor-led training remains the most effective way to learn Microsoft Office. There are multiple applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook which are broken up into various levels, these levels allow you to focus on development areas that you prioritise. All our Microsoft Office courses are 1 day long, minimising time out of office.

There is a certification offering from Microsoft that will certify you either as a Microsoft Office Specialist or Microsoft Office Expert. These exams are offered through a Certiport test centre, each exam is approximately 55 minutes long consisting of 25 question.

Depending on what you want to achieve and how advanced you would like your skills to be, we would already be able to make a difference in your ability with a single 1-day course. The more courses you do, the more advanced your skills will become, mastering Excel for instance over 3 1-day courses.

The benefit of training on a new application is that majority of what you learn will be backwards compatible. It is always best to train on the version you use but if you or your company will be installing or implementing a newer version then it would be of benefit to do that version instead, ensuring you have sight of coming changes.
