REDEEM YOU MICROSOFT SOFTWARE ASSURANCE TRAINING VOUCHERS THROUGH MIE
How does it work?
Microsoft licensing customers receive a number of training days based on the amount of their qualifying Microsoft Office and/or Windows software licenses that are covered by Software Assurance (SA). Customers can convert these days into SA training vouchers (SATV’s) to attend eligible courses on Microsoft products. The training vouchers are electronic, created by the customer in the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC), and can be redeemed for a number of Microsoft training solutions;
- Technical In-class Training
- Technical Online Training (MOC On-Demand)
- Microsoft Technical Exams
Software Assurance Training Benefits:
Software Assurance training benefits help boost productivity by providing training to ensure effective and efficient deployment, management, support, and adoption of new Microsoft software without impacting your training budget. Software Assurance’s training benefit provides technical training through the Software Assurance training vouchers (SATV) program.
Upcoming Changes:
Microsoft is updating Software Assurance benefits beginning in February 2020 where training vouchers will be phased out as a benefit. It is important that you take note of the following dates as this may affect your ability to use SATV on specific courses.
- December 31, 2019: Microsoft On-Demand (self-paced online) courses will no longer be eligible for SATV redemption.
- February 1, 2020: Azure courses will be removed from training voucher redemption.
- February 1, 2021: Customers will no longer accrue training voucher days.
- New contracts after this date won’t have any training vouchers assigned and existing contracts won’t receive any additional training vouchers.
- Current customers can continue to redeem accrued training vouchers until January 1, 2022.
